      Additional Public Holiday in Indonesia : 18th August 2025 (Independence Day)

      With BrioHR, no action is needed in line with this announcement as we’ve updated our system to reflect the additional public holiday! 

      The government has designated Monday, August 18th, 2025 as a national holiday as part of the celebration of the Republic of Indonesia's Independence Day on August 17.

      In line with this announcement, we've updated our system with a new public holiday, "Indonesian Independence Day Additional Holiday," that has been added for all offices based in Indonesia.

       

      NOTE:

      This public holiday is automatically added to the system. If you prefer to disable it, please follow these steps:

       

      1. Go to Settings > Offices.
      2. Select the relevant office and click Edit (green pencil icon).
      3. In the "Edit an office" window, navigate to the Public Holidays tab.
      4. Toggle off  "Indonesian Independence Day Additional Holiday"
      5. Click Submit to save your changes.
