Additional Public Holiday in Selangor : 25th October 2026 (Silver Jubilee Celebration of the Reign of DYMM Sultan Selangor)

With BrioHR, no action is needed in line with this announcement as we’ve updated our system to reflect the additional public holiday!

The Selangor State Government has declared 25th October 2026 (Sunday) as an additional public holiday in conjuction with the Silver Jubilee Celebration of the Reign of DYMM Sultan Selangor. As this Public Holiday falls on a Sunday, the replacement holiday has been added on the next working day, 26th October 2026 (Monday).

In line with this announcement, we've updated our system with the public holiday, "Silver Jubilee Celebration of the Reign of DYMM Sultan Selangor  & Silver Jubilee Celebration of the Reign of DYMM Sultan Selangor Holiday", on the 25th October 2026 and 26th October 2026 that has been added for all offices in the Selangor state.

NOTE:

This public holiday is automatically added to the system. If you prefer to disable it, please follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings > Offices.
  2. Select the relevant office and click Edit (green pencil icon).
  3. In the "Edit an office" window, navigate to the Public Holidays tab.
  4. Toggle off  "Silver Jubilee Celebration of the Reign of DYMM Sultan Selangor Holiday"
  5. Click Submit to save your changes.
