Assigning employees to the correct Time Attendance Policy is crucial to ensure they follow the appropriate approval flow for their timesheets and adhere to the correct attendance rounding rules.

In this guide, we will walk you through two methods for assigning employees to a Time Attendance Policy in BrioHR.


Step-by-Step Guide: Assign Time Attendance Policy to Employees

Step 1 - Log In to BrioHR Account

Log in to your BrioHR account using your registered credentials.

Step 2 - Access the Time Attendance Module

1. Navigate to HR Lounge > Time Attendance.

2. Click on Policy to open the policy section.

3. You will see a list of available policies along with their assigned employees.

4. To assign or reassign a policy, click on Assign Policy.

5. You can assign policies in two ways:

  • Assign Policy to Individual Employees

  • Assign Policy to Multiple Employees (Bulk Assignment)

Method 1: Assign Policy to Individual Employees

1. Search for the employee’s name.

2. Under the Policy column, click the dropdown field.

3. Select the desired policy to assign to the employee.


Method 2: Assign Policy in Bulk (Multiple Employees)

1. Use the available filters (e.g., Office or Department) to locate employees.

2. Click Select All to select all employees in the filtered list.

3. A bottom menu will appear, and click Assign Policy.

4. Choose the applicable policy from the list.

5. Click Apply to complete the assignment.

Once completed, employees will be assigned to their respective Time Attendance Policies.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Each policy determines the applicable timesheet rules and attendance rounding configurations, which may vary among employees.
