Payroll Singapore Update

Manage SHG Contributions with Greater Flexibility

We've introduced a new enhancement for Singapore Payroll that gives HR administrators more control over managing Self-Help Group (SHG) contributions.

You can now configure each employee's SHG affiliation individually and choose whether to use the default system-calculated contribution or enter a custom contribution amount when required.

What's new?

• Configure each SHG type (CDAC, MBMF, SINDA and ECF) independently for every employee.
• Enable multiple SHG contributions for employees with more than one affiliation.
• Override the default SHG calculation with a custom contribution value.
• Payroll will automatically apply the configured SHG contribution during payroll processing.

This enhancement provides greater flexibility for organizations that need to manage special SHG contribution arrangements while ensuring accurate payroll calculations.

Payroll Malaysia Update

Touch 'n Go as Employee Bank, Now Supported for Bank Islam (Malaysia)

Employees can now choose Touch 'n Go as their preferred bank account if their company processes salary payments through Bank Islam.

What's new?

• Touch 'n Go is now available as a supported employee bank for Bank Islam payment file generation.
• Pay salaries directly to employees who use Touch 'n Go as their receiving account.
• Simplifies payroll processing by supporting more employee banking preferences.

Employee's bank can be updated at:

HR Lounge > Employee Management > Employee Profile > Payroll > Employee Bank Information > Bank Account.

General Update

A Simpler Way to Reset Your Password

We've enhanced the password reset experience on the brioHR mobile app. When you tap the Reset Now button in your password reset email, you'll be directed to the best experience based on your device.

What's new?

• Open the password reset screen directly in the brioHR app if it's installed.
• Continue resetting your password in your mobile through the briohr web browser if the app isn't installed.
• Easily download the app from the pop-up page.
• After resetting your password, you'll be redirected to the login screen and can sign in using your new password or your preferred SSO method (Google, Microsoft, or Okta).

This enhancement delivers a smoother, more convenient password reset experience across both the brioHR mobile app and mobile browser.
