FAQ:
What if my employees have already applied for leave on the additional holidays?
If an employee has already booked leave for the additional holiday, the system will not cancel the leave. To ensure their leave entitlement is credited back, please follow these steps:
-
Employee Self-Service: Employees can cancel their own leave requests. Their leave balance will be automatically restored once the cancellation is processed.
-
HR Admin Action: An HR Admin can cancel the leave on the employee's behalf to refresh their entitlement balance.
Want to remove this public holiday from your calendar?

Time Attendance Enhancement
TimeTec Device Duplicate Clock Protection
With Duplicate Clock Protection on your TimeTec device, you can prevent employees from tapping in or out repeatedly within a short time frame. Once enabled, the system blocks additional taps for a defined period (e.g. 5 minutes), ensuring cleaner and more reliable attendance data.
Quick setup in 5 simple steps:
-
Go to System Settings on your TimeTec Device
-
Select Attendance
-
Tap Duplicate Punch Period
-
Choose or define your preferred time range
-
Save your settings
Once activated, employees will see a notification if they attempt to clock in again too soon—helping reinforce proper usage while keeping your records accurate.
