BrioHR Product Updates - Mar 2026, Week 4 | New Features and Enhancements

At BrioHR, we are committed to continuously enhancing the user experience. We listen to valuable feedback from our clients to deliver new features, improvements, and system enhancements.

This article provides a summary of all BrioHR product updates released on Week 4 of March 2026.


Payroll Module 

Daily Rate Compensation Now Available

We’re excited to introduce a new enhancement to the Employee Profile that gives you greater flexibility in managing employee salaries — Daily Rate Compensation is now available in the Compensation tab.

With this new option, you can now easily set an employee’s salary based on a daily rate. Simply head to Employee Profile > Compensation > Salary, click on + Add Salary, and select Daily Rate from the dropdown to get started.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • The effective date must be set to the first of the month
  • During payroll, basic pay will default to 0
  • Payroll processors will need to add the number of working days to calculate the total salary

Payslip Disclaimer & 'Salary' Name Update

We’ve made a couple of helpful improvements to the Payroll Module to enhance your experience:

  1. You can now easily add a disclaimer directly to your payslips, read more about this in Section 5.3 of the article here!
  2. The “Salary” label in payroll and generated payslips has been updated to “Basic Salary” for better clarity

We hope these updates make your payroll process even smoother!

 

Recruitment Module

Daily Salary option when Generating offer in Recruitment module

Along with the new enhancement to the — Daily Rate Compensation which is now available in the Payroll module , you can now also Generate Offers in the Recruitment module and select the 'Daily' salary option!

Time Attendance Module

Overtime Type field available in TA Timesheet Report

Overtime type is now a field within the Time Attendance Timesheet report 

We’ve introduced a new field, ‘Overtime Type’, in the Time Attendance Timesheet report to provide greater visibility and control over overtime tracking.
