Simplify BrioHR Access with JumpCloud SSO

Make accessing brioHR easier and more seamless with Single Sign-On (SSO) through JumpCloud. Employees can now use their existing JumpCloud credentials to access brioHR, helping your team spend less time managing passwords and more time getting work done.

With JumpCloud SSO, your team can:

• Enjoy faster access — Sign in to brioHR using existing JumpCloud credentials.
• Reduce password fatigue — Minimise the need to remember and manage multiple passwords.
• Simplify access management — Make it easier for HR and admins to manage user access across your organisation.
• Improve the login experience — Provide employees with a more seamless way to access BrioHR.

Payroll Update

Generate Payroll Reports for Multiple Employees at Once

The Employee Payroll report in Report Builder now has two tabs: Individual (the report you know today) and Multiple, so you can generate one report covering several employees at once — grouped by payroll centre — instead of running the report one employee at a time.

Key Benefits:

• Save time – Generate a single report for many employees instead of running it individually for each one.
• Grouped by payroll centre – Employees are organized under their payroll centre, with each one collapsed into a single row until you need the detail.
• Full breakdown on demand – Expand any employee's row to see their complete pay-item breakdown, exactly as shown in the Individual report.

Alliance Bank SOCSO Bank File (MY)

We’ve updated the Alliance Bank SOCSO bank file to align with the latest required format, making your SOCSO contribution submissions clearer and more accurate.

What’s Improved?

• SOCSO & SKBBK contributions are now separated into their respective fields.
• Trailer totals now reflect the combined SOCSO and SKBBK contribution amounts.
• For employees who opt out of SKBBK, the SKBBK Amount field will automatically show zeros.

With this enhancement, your Alliance Bank SOCSO bank file is ready to follow the latest format when processing your completed payroll.

Time Attendance Module Update

Add a Rest Day, Day Off, or Work Day on a Public Holiday

Managing public holidays that fall on a rest day or day off just got more flexible. Previously, HR Admins and managers could only assign a shift on a public holiday. Now, you can also set the day as a Rest Day, Day Off, or Work Day (Full/Half/Shift) — for employees on both Shift and Flexi work arrangements — so the correct overtime type and rate are applied automatically.

Key Benefits:

• Accurate overtime pay – The system automatically applies the correct OT type and rate (e.g. Rest Day OT, Public Holiday OT) based on how the day is set.
• Flexible for every schedule – Assign a Work Day, Rest Day, or Day Off on a public holiday for both Shift and Flexi employees.
• Cleaner rosters, no false absences – Rosters now reflect the actual schedule on a PH, and Flexi employees still won't be marked absent if they don't clock in.

Expense Claims Module Update

Paste a List of Options Directly into Claim Type Custom Fields

Setting up dropdown options for your Claim Types is now faster. Simply copy a list and paste it straight into the options field — brioHR will automatically split it into separate options for you.

Key Benefits:

• Save time – Paste a whole list at once instead of typing each option individually.
• Fewer errors – Duplicates and extra spaces are cleaned up automatically.
