For Geolocation Clock-in:

Enabling geolocation clock-in will restrict employees to clocking in only at a specific shift location and/or a custom location.

Once enabled, employees can only clock in using the BrioHR mobile app, and they must allow the app to access their location.

  • Shift Location : If selected, employees can only clock in at the location assigned to their shift. Please refer to [this guide] for how to create and assign location to a shift.
  • If the shift does not have a specific location, the system will fall back to the custom location (if configured).
  • If no custom location is configured, where will be no location restriction for clocking in.
  • Custom Location: If enabled, employees can clock in at any pre-configured custom location. Priority is given to the shift location when both options are active!
