How to Create and Manage a Budget Center in the Training Module
Budget center allows you to monitor the initial budget, amount utilized on training, and remaining balance for each budget allocation
Step-by-Step Guide to Setting Up Budget Center
Login to your BrioHR account
- Click on HR Lounge.
- Select the Training tab.
- Navigate to Budget Center.
To create a new budget center:
- Click on the +Create budget center button.
- A pop out window will appear to create budget center
- Name: provide a name for your budget center.
- Budget amount: select a currency and input amount.
- Click Save.
Step-by-Step Guide to Managing Budget Center
Once the budget center is created, you can manage and update it easily. Here is how:
- Change Budget Center Status:
- Active: allows you to select this budget center when creating a training program.
- Inactive: prevents you from selecting this budget center during a training program creation.
- Track Budget Allocation: The Budget column shows the originally allocated budget for each budget center.
- Monitor Utilization: The Utilized column tracks the amount used from all created training programs.
- Check Remaining Balance: The Balance column displays the remaining amount available for future training programs.
Additional actions:
- Click the pencil icon to edit an existing budget center.
- Click the bin icon to delete an existing budget center.
Deleting an existing budget center cannot be undone. Please proceed with caution!
