NOTE:

Once you've disabled a public holiday, the system will assume that date as a non-public holiday. Employees then can use their leave entitlement to apply a leave on that date.

To disable a public holiday:

  1. Login to your BrioHR account. Go to Settings
  2. Click on Offices
  3. Find the office that you want to disable a public holiday(e.g., Kuala Lumpur office). Click on pencil icon to edit.
  4. Locate the public holiday you want to disable (e.g., 17 September 2024) and toggle the switch to disable it.
  5. Click Save

Now, 17 September 2024 is no longer designated as a 'Public Holiday' for employees assigned to the 'Kuala Lumpur' office. This date will no longer appear as a 'Public Holiday' on the Home page calendar.
