How to Enable Employee's Leave Applications for 2025 (Web & Mobile App)

If you're an HR/Admin and need to enable leave applications for 2025 for your employees using the BrioHR system, follow this guide.

As a HR Admin, you need to enable permission for employees to apply next year's leave in their respective User Groups before employees can start applying 2025 leave.

Steps to Enable Leave Applications for 2025 in BrioHR (Web & Mobile)

To enable employees to submit their leave applications for 2025, the HR/Admin must follow these steps:

Login to your BrioHR account

  1. Navigate to Settings.
  2. Click User Groups.
  3. Select the relevant Employee User Group > click the pencil icon to edit
  4. Go to Employee Modules Permission.
  5. Select the Leave Module.
    1. Check Allow access to the following year.
  6. Click Save.

NOTE:

Only an Admin with the appropriate permissions can configure these settings for employee access in their User Group.

Verification and Submission:

Once this setting is enabled, employees will be able to submit their leave requests for 2025 using the system.

NOTE:

This process is applicable for both Web Browser and the Mobile Application.

For Mobile App Users:

Ensure you click the "Tap to Update" button when opening the app to get the latest version.

TIP:
Updates should be done directly within the app, not through the App Store or Google Play Store.

Leave Application Process:

Web Browser:

After enabling access, employees can select the year 2025 from the dropdown menu on the leave application page.


 

Mobile App:

Once access is enabled, employees will be able to select the year 2025 from the dropdown menu within the app.

NOTE:

This process does not apply to Childcare Leave in Singapore due to Ministry of Manpower (MOM) restrictions. For more information on Childcare Leave utilization, refer to this article.


What Happens if Access for 2025 is Not Enabled?

If the Allow access to the following year option is not enabled, employees will not be able to submit leave requests for 2025. Ensure that this setting is activated as shown in the steps above.
