How to Assign a Payroll Manager to Your Payroll Center

Learn how to assign or remove a Payroll Manager in BrioHR’s Payroll Center. Step-by-step guide for managing payroll access and generating payroll reports.

Why Assign a Payroll Manager to the Payroll Center?

Assigning a Payroll Manager in BrioHR ensures proper access control and efficient payroll processing. A Payroll Manager has permission to:

  • Access the Payroll Center of your account.

  • Download company payroll reports from the Reports module.

  • Manage multiple payroll centers by restricting which payroll processors can access specific centers.

Note:
Users with Admin Settings access can still access the Payroll Center, even if they are not designated as Payroll Managers. However, only Payroll Managers can generate employee and company payroll reports.

Steps to Assign a Payroll Manager

1.   Login to BrioHR and click on the Settings > Payroll Centers

2.  At the Payroll Center you wish to assign the Payroll Manager, click on Edit (green pencil  icon).

3.   In the Edit Payroll Center pop-up window, select the Payroll Manager from the dropdown list of employees.

4.   Click Submit to complete the action. If you need to cancel any modifications, click Cancel.

How to Remove a Payroll Manager

To remove a Payroll Manager, follow the same steps as above and simply untick the name before clicking Submit.
