      How to Calculate Performance Overall Rating

      The overall rating of an appraisal form is derived from the ratings assigned by the appraiser for competencies and objectives. The following outlines the method our system uses to calculate the appraisal score.

      Formula to Calculate Appraisal Score Rating

      Final Score = (Weightage of Competency % * Average Competency Rating) + (Weightage of Objectives % * Average Objective Rating)

      Example Calculation:

      Competencies Weightage: 50%
      Objectives Weightage: 50%
      Objective Average Rating by Appraiser: 3.5/5
      Competencies Average Rating by Appraiser: 3.3/5

      Overall Rating = (50% * 3.3/5) + (50% * 3.5/5) = 3.4/5
