NOTE:
Before proceeding, please consult your HR Department to confirm whether you have the permission to cancel your own leave application(s).
If you do not have access, you will need to request HR to cancel the leave application on your behalf.

Important:
- You can only cancel leave applications for future dates.
- To cancel a leave application for a past date, please contact your HR Department for assistance. The My Leave dashboard does not allow cancellations of past leave applications.
This guide is divided into two sections:
A) Cancel Normal Leave (e.g., Annual Leave)
B) Cancel Credit Request (e.g., Replacement Leave)
Understanding "Past Leave"
Q: What is considered a 'past leave'?
A: A 'past leave' refers to any leave application that starts from a date in the past up to the current date.
For example: If today's date is 11/03/2024, any leave applied on or before 11/03/2024 is considered 'past leave.'
Steps to Cancel Your Leave Application:
If you have permission to cancel your own leave application, follow these steps:
Log in to your BrioHR account.
Click on the Home icon and select My Leave.
A) Cancel Normal Leave (e.g., Annual Leave)
- Scroll down to the Leave Requests Status & History table. Click on See details for the specific leave.
- In the Leave Details pop-up, click on the Cancel leave icon.
Q: I don't see the "Cancel leave" button. What should I do?
A: If your leave is for a future date and you do not see the "Cancel leave" button, it means you don't have the necessary permissions. Please contact your HR for assistance.
- A confirmation pop-up will appear. Click Yes to cancel the leave application, or click No to cancel the action.
- The status of your leave application will change to CANCELLED.
B) Cancel Credit Request (e.g., Replacement Leave)
- Scroll down to the Leave Requests Status & History table. Click on See details for the relevant credit request.
- In the Leave Details pop-up, click on the Cancel request icon.
Q: I don't see the "Cancel request" button. What should I do?
A: If you do not see the "Cancel request" button, it indicates you don't have the necessary permissions. Please contact your HR for assistance.
- A confirmation pop-up will appear. Click Yes to cancel the request, or click No to cancel the action.
- The status of your request will change to CANCELLED.
