Edit, Delete, or Disable Claim Types in BrioHR Expense Claims Module

Managing claim types in BrioHR is essential for efficient expense claim handling. HR/Admin users can easily edit, delete, or disable claim types. Follow this step-by-step guide to make changes and ensure streamlined claim processes.

Login to your BrioHR account.

1. At HR Lounge, click on Expense Claims menu.

 

2. Click on Claim Types tab.

To edit Claim Types

3. Click on pencil icon to edit respective claim type.

4. You can edit Claim Title to rename the name, or you can update any fields that are needed.

5. Click on Save button to save the setting.

 

To delete Claim Types

6.  Click on the trash bin icon to delete the respective claim type.

7.  Click on Delete button to confirm delete the respective claim type, or click on Cancel button to cancel the deletion.

8. System will prompt a warning message as below image, if claim type has been used in claim reports. Hence, you are not able to delete the claim type.

However, you can disable the claim types if the claim types no longer available to be claim by staff.

 

To disable Claim Types

9. Click on toggle button to disable claim type.

10. Toggle button will be off and claim type won't be available in the selection drop-down of claim type in claim report.
