How to Edit or Delete an Employee's Past Compensation
NOTE:
When you edit or delete past compensation, the changes will not be reflected in existing payslips or payroll reports, as the compensation has already been processed in past payrolls.
Steps to Edit or Delete Past Compensation:
1. Go to the employee's Profile and click on the Compensation tab.
2. Hover over the compensation you want to edit or delete, then click on the Edit icon.
3. Since the compensation has already been used in a past payroll, you will initially only be able to edit the Comment section. To make further modifications, click on Enable Editing.
4. After enabling editing, you can perform the following actions:
- Edit the Effective Date
- Edit the Salary Type
- Edit the Amount
- Add or update a Comment
After making your changes, click Save to apply the updates, or click Delete to remove the compensation.
5. The edited compensation will be updated accordingly in the Compensation tab.
6. If the compensation is deleted, the salary record will be removed from the Compensation tab accordingly.
