How to Enable Managers and HR to Perform Expense Claim Actions on Behalf of Others

A new enhancement has been made to the Expense Claims module in BrioHR. As an Admin, you can now give employees or claim assignees permission to perform claim actions, such as creating new claim items or approving claims for non-team members, on behalf of other employees.

This feature is available if the assignee has access to HR Lounge > Expense Claims.

Steps to Grant Permission:

Login to your BrioHR account.

1.   Go to Settings.

2.   Navigate to User Groups.

3.   Choose a user group (e.g., Manager). Click the pencil icon to edit feature accessibility.

5.   Navigate to HR Modules Permission.

6.   Go to the Claim Module section.

7.   Tick the box for Perform actions on behalf of others to enable it.

8.   Click Save once done.

You have now granted permission for employees in the selected user group to perform claim actions on behalf of others in HR Lounge > Expense Claims.
