How to Generate the CP21 Form in Malaysia for Payroll Compliance

What Is The CP21 Form?

The CP21 form is submitted by employers to notify the Inland Revenue Board (Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri, LHDN) of an employee who will be leaving Malaysia.

When an employee subject to tax on income from employment plans to leave Malaysia for a period exceeding three months, the employer must submit Form CP21 at least 30 days before the employee’s expected departure date.

For further details, refer to LHDN's guidelines on Termination of Service here.
