Steps by Steps to Open a Training Catalog
To begin managing training trainees in BrioHR, follow these steps:
Login to BrioHR account
- Go to HR Lounge.
- Click the Training tab.
- Navigate to the Training Catalog.
- Here, you will find a list of training events and their statuses.
- Select the training event for which you want to manage trainees.
- Go to the Trainees tab.
How to Manage Trainees in a Training Event
In the Trainees tab, HR managers can:

Check enrollment status of employees.

Mark attendance for those who have participated.

Manually add or unenroll trainees when necessary.
A) Check the Enrollment Status
There are different statuses to track when managing trainees:
- Status : Enrolled
Employees have either self-enrolled or have been added by HR.
- Status: Submitted
The employee's enrollment is pending approval. - Status: Unenrolled
The employee was previously enrolled but has now been unenrolled from the training event.
B) Mark Employees as 'Attended'
To track employee attendance in a training event:
- Toggle the "Attended" to mark their attendance.
Marking attendance is essential for keeping accurate records of training participation and ensuring that employees receive any necessary certifications or recognition.
C) Unenroll and Re-enroll Trainees
If you need to manage trainee enrollments, here's how to unenroll and re-enroll participants:
- Unenroll Trainees :
You can unenroll trainees from the training event if their status is 'Enrolled'.- Click the '-Unenroll' button to unenrolled trainees. The status will change to 'Unenrolled'.
- Re-enroll Trainees:
- To re-enroll them, click the +Enroll button. The status will change from 'Unenrolled' to 'Enrolled'
NOTE:
Employees cannot be completely removed from the trainee list.
D) Manually Add/Enroll Trainees
To manually add or enroll trainees in a training event:
- Click the +Add trainees button. A pop out window will appear.
- Select the employee.
- Find the employees in the search box.
- You can filter by department and office.
- Click 'Add to training' to enroll the employees into the training event.
- Their names will be added and status automatically becomes 'Enrolled'
Manually adding trainees allows HR to control who participates in specific training sessions, ensuring that relevant employees get the training they need.
