How to Remove Employees from an Ongoing Performance Cycle in BrioHR
This feature allows Admin/HR users to remove an employee from an ongoing performance cycle.
For example, if the performance cycle has already started and an employee has left the company or was added to the performance cycle by mistake, the Admin/HR user can remove the employee from the ongoing performance cycle.
To exclude an employee from the current performance cycle, follow these steps:
1. Log in to your BrioHR account and navigate to HR Lounge > Employee Performance.
2. Click on the Employees tab. Here, you can manage employees in the current cycle and prepare for the upcoming cycle. To exclude an employee from the current cycle, search for the employee's name in the search field.
3. Click on the "-" ("Remove") icon to exclude the employee from the current cycle. The employee's status will change from INCLUDED to EXCLUDED in the CURRENT CYCLE column.
If you wish to include the employee back in the ongoing cycle, click on the "+" ("Add") icon. The employee's status will change from EXCLUDED to INCLUDED in the CURRENT CYCLE column.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- This "Exclude" feature is only applicable to the ongoing performance cycle.
- Once you remove an employee and then decide to include them back in the same cycle, the employee will have to restart the tasks from the beginning of the performance cycle. Only data such as Objectives and Appraisals will remain.
- When the "Exclude" action is performed, there will be no notifications or alerts in the Pending Actions List. This is purely an HR/Admin user function.
