How to Restrict Employee Login Methods with 'Allow Login With' in BrioHR

What is "Allow Login With"?

The "Allow Login With" feature enables you to control which login methods employees can use to access their BrioHR accounts.

For example, if your company requires all employees to log in with Google only, you can disable access to login with Password, Microsoft, or Okta.

How to Manage Access to Login Methods

  1. Go to Settings > Company page.
  2. Click the Edit button and scroll down to the bottom.
  3. Choose the login methods you want to enable or disable by toggling the checkbox on the right-hand side.
  4. Click Save.

  • Password: Login using your email address and password.
  • Google: Login with Google.
  • Microsoft: Login with Microsoft.
  • OIDC: Login with Okta.

NOTE:

Please ensure accurate management of access to the login methods to prevent issues such as being unable to log in to the account due to disabling the correct login method utilized by your company.

When turning off login options, make sure your email account supports Single Sign-On (SSO). If you are unable to log in, please contact support@briohr.com.

Once access has been restricted, employees will receive the message “You are not allowed to perform this login method. Please contact your HR administrator” when they attempt to log in using a disabled method (Password/Microsoft/Okta). Example screenshots are provided below:
