How to Send or Re-Send Activation Email to Employees: A Guide for HR/Admin

When a new employee account is created in BrioHR, the system does not automatically send an activation email. Instead, HR or Admin users must manually trigger the activation email. This email provides the employee with their username and temporary password for first-time login.

This guide explains how to send or re-send activation emails to employees, especially new joiners, so they can access their BrioHR accounts smoothly.

 

Steps to Send or Re-Send Activation Email

  1. Log in to your BrioHR account.

  2. Go to Settings > Users.

  3. Select the checkbox next to the employee’s name.

  4. Click on the Send Activation Email icon.

  5. A confirmation prompt will appear: “Send activation email?”

    • Click Yes to proceed.

    • Click No to cancel.

  6. Once confirmed, the system will send the activation email to the employee.

 

 

What Does the Activation Email Contain?

The activation email sent by BrioHR includes:

  • Employee’s username

  • A temporary password for first-time login
