Ensure a smooth and structured onboarding process by setting up the Onboarding Section in BrioHR. Follow the steps below to configure onboarding sections as part of your process.
Steps to Set Up the Onboarding Section

Login to BrioHR

Navigate to HR Lounge > Onboarding

Select Process

Create a New Process or Select an Existing Process – Click See Details to modify an existing process.

Configure the Onboarding Section – In the left panel, you will find a list of onboarding steps that can be enabled or disabled according to your company’s requirements:

Personal Information – Collect basic employee details such as full name, contact information, and emergency contacts.

Payroll Information – Gather banking details, salary structure, and statutory information needed for payroll processing.

Qualification – Request educational background, certifications, and relevant work experience.

Contract – Upload and share employment contracts that employees can review and acknowledge.

Day 1 Preparation – Provide necessary details such as workstation setup, assigned mentor, and company policies.

Orientation Meetings – Schedule introductory meetings with key stakeholders and department heads.

Orientation Trainings – Assign required training sessions to help employees understand company policies and workflows.

Orientation Objectives – Set expectations and objectives for the first 30, 60, or 90 days to track employee progress.

Probation – Configure probation notifications to remind HR/admin to decide on the probation result after a set number of days. Additionally, update the probation status to indicate whether the new hire has passed or failed.

Finalizing the Setup
Once all necessary sections are configured, click Save. The system will validate that all required fields are completed before saving. If any mandatory fields are missing, BrioHR will prompt a message indicating which sections need attention.
By following these steps, you can ensure a seamless and well-structured onboarding experience for new employees.
