Malaysia Payroll Update: Final Submission Date for e-Data PCB/e-PCB/e-CP39

Important Deadline: Final Submission Date for Monthly Tax Deduction (MTD)

The final submission date for the e-Data PCB, e-PCB, and e-CP39 Monthly Tax Deduction (MTD) data and payments in Malaysia is 15th January 2025.

Key Points:

  • Employers are required to complete all MTD submissions and payments by 15th January 2025.
  • After this date, MTD submission functions will be deactivated, and employers will only have limited access to the system for review purposes.

Transition to e-PCB Plus:

The e-PCB Plus system is mandatory for all employers, and you must transition to this new system to continue making accurate and timely submissions.

  • Launch Date: The e-PCB Plus system is expected to launch by the end of January 2025, pending final testing by LHDN (Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia).
  • Action Required: Employers must ensure they transition to e-PCB Plus to facilitate smooth future submissions.

Important Note for Payroll Bank Application Users !

Employers who are using a payroll bank application to make payments to LHDN do not need to register in the e-PCB Plus system.

  • Mandatory Transition: All employers are required to adopt the e-PCB Plus system.
