Managing your company's training catalog efficiently ensures employees can access relevant learning opportunities. This guide covers creating, managing, and publishing training programs to employees with step-by-step instructions.
How to Manage the Company Training Catalog
Accessing the Training Catalog
- Go to HR Lounge > Training > Training Catalog.
Creating a New Training
- Click on the + Create Training button.
- Under the Details section, fill in the required fields based on the training content.
- Upload any training materials under the Attachment field.
- Add a training video link under the Video Link field (if applicable).
- In the Trainer section, enter:
- Trainer’s name, phone number, email, profile photo, and bio.
- Trainer’s name, phone number, email, profile photo, and bio.
- Click Save to create the training.
- The new training will be saved in Draft status.
Managing the Training Catalog
Editing & Publishing Training
Before publishing, click on the Edit button to manage the setup.
Setting Eligibility
Decide who can register for the training:
- Eligible to all employees – All employees can see and enroll.
- Restricted to certain groups – Only employees meeting specific criteria can enroll.
- Select trainees manually – Only selected trainees can enroll; assign them in the Trainees tab (training will not be visible in the catalog).
Managing Training Budget
- Under the Budget section, link the training cost to a budget center and update the total cost.
Setting Enrollment Approval
- Under the Approval section, enable the approval requirement for enrollment.
- If enabled, trainees’ requests will follow the approval workflow defined in the Training Settings.
Assigning Trainees
- If the Select Trainees Manually option is enabled, go to the Trainees page to enroll selected participants.
Publishing the Training
Once all settings are updated, click Publish Training to make it available for eligible employees to register.
