Setting Statutory Contributions for Employees Aged 60 and Above (Malaysia Payroll)
Ensure accurate statutory contribution settings for employees aged 60 and above, complying with Malaysia’s EPF, EIS and SOCSO regulations.

EPF (Employees’ Provident Fund) Contribution
- Category C, D & E (Refer here)
- Employer contribution: 4% (Malaysians)
- Employer contribution: To refer to the following table for Non-Malaysians
- Employee contribution: Optional (default 0%, unless the employee opts in).
- System allows employees to opt-in for contributions and reflects this in payroll calculations, able to customize by Rate (%) or Value ($)

EIS (Employment Insurance System) Exemption
- Employees aged 60 and above are exempt from EIS contributions.
- To select [non related] under the Employee Payroll Profile to disable EIS deductions

SOCSO (Social Security Organization) Contribution
- Employees aged 60 and above are covered under the Employment Injury Scheme only.
- To select [Insured only against employment injury] apply the correct reduced rate for SOCSO contributions.
