Understanding Seniority Leave and Anniversary Dates
Opting for the anniversary as the effective date will apply the additional days on the anniversary year. This means that during the anniversary year, the employee will transition between entitlement regimes.
The seniority feature increases an employee's entitlements after they've been working for a specific duration.
Opting for the anniversary as the effective date will apply the additional days on the anniversary year. This means that during the anniversary year, the employee will transition between entitlement regimes. As a result, the annual entitlement will be proportionally adjusted to account for the period before and after the increment.
Increment Modes:
Fixed Increment: Define an increment and a frequency that will be applied.
- For example, add '2 days every 1 year.'
- In this option, you can also set a maximum increment of days. For example, increment until the employee reaches 10 days of increment.
Variable Increment: Set how many days you want to add after a certain number of years.
- For example:
- Rule 1: add '3 days after 3 years.'
- Rule 2: add '1 day after 4 years.'
- In this case, an employee working for more than 4 years will have 3 + 1 = 4 incremental days.
