Adding a new office to BrioHR is simple and helps streamline employee management based on location. Here's how you can add an office:

How to Add an Office in BrioHR
Log in to your BrioHR account.
- Go to Settings.
- Select Offices.
- Click the Add new office button.
- A pop-out window will appear for you to add a new office.
Setting up Office's Basic Configuration:
- Office Name: Enter a unique name for the office.
- Description (Optional): Add additional details to help identify the office.
- Country & State: Select the correct country and state to ensure accurate public holiday settings.
NOTE:
Ensure you select the correct country and state, as this will affect the display of public holidays for the new office.
For example, if the state chosen is "Kuala Lumpur", the system will follow public holiday for state Kuala Lumpur.
Additional Options:

- Enable 'Work on Weekends' or 'Work on Holidays': (Optional) Useful for offices with non-traditional working days.

- Click Submit to save a new office.
NOTE:
Enabling "Work on Weekend" and "Work on Holiday" will affect leave applications for employees assigned to this office.
The system will treat weekends (Saturday/Sunday) and public holidays as working days. If an employee applies for leave on these days, the leave entitlement will be deducted.
Managing Office's Public Holidays:
Public holidays will automatically update once you have selected the country and state (e.g., Bangkok, Thailand).

- Adding a custom public holiday on September 23, 2024, will block leave applications on that date.

How to Edit an Office in BrioHR
If you need to update office details such as changing the office name, location, or work days settings, follow these steps:
Log in to your BrioHR account.
- Go to Settings.
- Select Offices.
- Find the relevant office (e.g., Kuala Lumpur) and click the pencil icon.
- A pop-out window will appear for you to edit the configuration.
How to Delete an Office in BrioHR
Log in to your BrioHR account.
- Go to Settings.
- Select Offices
- Find the relevant office (e.g., Kuala Lumpur) and click the dust bin icon.
- A pop-out window will confirm your choice.
WARNING:
You cannot delete an office if any employee is assigned to it. You must first unassign all employees from the office before deleting it.
Common Issues When Managing Offices in BrioHR
- Unable to Delete Office: Ensure no employees are assigned to the office before attempting to delete it. Reassign employees to different offices before attempting to delete.
- Changes Not Reflecting: If office edits don’t appear in employee profiles, refresh the system or check user permissions.
- Incorrect Public Holidays: Double-check that the correct country and state are selected for the office, as public holidays are tied to these settings.
