How Monthly Claims Limits Are Determined by Transaction Dates

For each claim type, you can set a limit per transaction, per month, and per year. For detailed instructions on setting claim limits, please refer to [How to Create and Manage Claim Policies].

NOTE:

The Monthly Expense Claims Limit is based on the transaction date.

Example 1:

If an expense claim's transaction date is February 16, 2024, but the claim was submitted and approved on March 6, 2024, will the limit for this claim be deducted from the balance available for February or March 2024?

Answer: The claim request with a transaction date of February 16, 2024, will deduct the balance available from February 2024.

The same rule applies to two or more claim items with different transaction dates submitted under one claim report. Each claim request will follow the month of its transaction date.

Example 2:

Consider a claim report submitted and approved on March 27, 2024, containing two claim items:

  1. The first claim item has a transaction date of February 16, 2024. (This will deduct from the February 2024 balance.)
  2. The second claim item has a transaction date of March 6, 2024. (This will deduct from the March 2024 balance.)
