How to Enable and Manage Profile Change Requests in BrioHR

Introducing BrioHR's newest feature: Profile Change Requests!

This feature allows employees to edit certain segments of their profile, which will then undergo HR approval before being updated.

For example:

  • You can permit all employees to edit their personal details, such as address, phone number, and marital status.
  • However, any changes made by employees must go through HR approval before they are updated in the profile.
  • Therefore, you need to enable the Profile Change Request function before giving employees access to edit their personal details.

Tip #1: Ensure the Function is Enabled in the User Group

  1. Go to Settings > User Groups > Choose the User Group to edit > Click the pencil icon to edit accessibility. [Refer here for how-to]
  2. Choose the category HR Modules Permission.
  3. Look for Global - Global HR Permission.
  4. Select the checkboxes for 'Access profile change requests list' and 'Modify profile change approval settings'.

  • Go to the HR Lounge and look for the Profile Change Request button.
  • Configure the settings for this function to take effect.
