Malaysia Payroll Centre: Supported Banks for Payroll, Statutory and Zakat Bank Files in BrioHR

Introduction

After completing a monthly payroll run, you can generate a bank file directly from BrioHR and upload it to your bank's portal for salary crediting and statutory payments.

Each company bank selected in the Payroll Center Settings will generate a specific bank file format. Therefore, it is essential to ensure that:

• The correct company bank is selected, and

• The bank file version matches your bank's requirements

This ensures successful uploads and prevents payment rejections.

To download the bank files for salary payroll and statutory payment, you can download after a payroll cycle has been completed.

If the chosen company's bank does not support bank files for statutory payments in BrioHR, you can download the text file for each statutory contribution and upload it directly to the respective statutory portal.

The payment can then be completed through the statutory organization's portal.

A. Banks Supporting Salary Payroll Bank Files

BrioHR supports salary payroll bank file generation for selected banks in Malaysia. Once the payroll is finalized, you can generate the bank file in the format required by the selected bank for employee salary payment.

B. Bank Supporting Statutory Payment Bank Files (PCB, EPF, SOCSO and EIS)

BrioHR also supports bank file generation for statutory contributions, including:

• LHDN (PCB/MTD)

• EPF
• SOCSO
• EIS

These bank files allow you to upload statutory payment directly to your bank portal, streamlining the payment process and reducing manual entry.

C. Banks Supporting Zakat Bank File Payments

For companies that process zakat deductions, BrioHR supports generating Zakat bank files for selected banks.

This enabled easy uploading of zakat payment files to the bank portal after payroll processing.
