Payroll Module Update

Apply Mapping to Multiple Accounting Groupings

You can now apply an existing accounting mapping to multiple groupings at once, making it easier to manage your accounting setup across GL Report, Xero, and SAGE.

Key Benefits:

⚡ Faster setup – Apply an existing mapping to multiple groupings without having to configure each one individually.

🌐 More integration support – The feature is now available across GL Report, Xero, and SAGE.

🎯 Greater control – Choose exactly which groupings should receive the mapping, giving you more flexibility when managing your accounting setup.

PCB Calculation Checks, Made Simple (MY)

You can now review and verify PCB calculations more easily with enhanced access to calculation details directly within the Payroll module.

Key Benefits:

 Greater confidence in payroll processing – Review PCB calculation details to support easier verification.

 Easy access to records – Download a copy of the PCB calculation for reference and record-keeping.

 Convenient cross-checking – Access the LHDN calculator directly from brioHR and copy accumulated employee amounts for comparison.

 Simplified verification – Compare the PCB amount generated to help validate calculations with greater ease and confidence.

Download Tax Forms on the brioHR Mobile App

Employees can now download their EA Form and PCB II (Malaysia) or IR8A (Singapore) from the brioHR mobile app, as they already can on the web. On the app, Payslips is now called Payroll Documents, so payslips and tax forms are in one place.

Key Benefits:

📱 Get tax forms on mobile – Employees can download their yearly tax forms from their phone, on the go, without needing a laptop.
🗂️ Same layout as web – Payslips and each tax form have their own tab, so the forms are easy to find.
🔒 Clear release status – Forms HR hasn't released yet are marked "Not yet released".
🌐 Choose a language – The EA Form is available in Bahasa Malaysia or English.

Onboarding Module Update

Complete Onboarding Anywhere with the brioHR Mobile App

Give your new hires a seamless first impression from day one. New joiners can now access and complete their entire onboarding journey—from filling out personal and payroll details to reading and approving employment contracts—directly inside the brioHR mobile app.

Key Benefits:

📱 Onboard on the go – New joiners can submit personal info, identity documents, and family details directly from their smartphones.

✍️ In-app contract review – Read drafted employment contracts right inside the app, approve or reject with feedback, and upload signed copies effortlessly.

📊 Real-time progress tracking – A clear dashboard shows overall completion percentage, pending tasks, and overdue indicators to keep new hires on track.

💬 Stay connected – New joiners can access shared company files, view assigned stakeholders, and chat directly with HR or their manager.

Download Signed Contracts Uploaded by New Joiners

HR can now download the signed contract a new joiner uploads in the Contract signature by employee task.

Key Benefits:

📄 Access the signed copy – Download the signed contract directly from the onboarding task, with no need to ask the new joiner to send it separately.
🗃️ Both versions available – The original contract drafted by HR can still be downloaded too.

Feed & Mobile Update

Instant Mobile Push Notifications for Feed Posts & Events

Keep your organization informed and engaged in real time, no matter where they are working. When creating a new post or event on the Feed, admins can now notify employees via both email and mobile push notifications simultaneously.

Key Benefits:

🔔 Dual-channel reach – Tick "Notify all recipients by email and push notification" when publishing to reach mobile-first employees instantly.

🎯 Targeted announcements – Push notifications respect your "Share with" audience settings, delivering alerts only to the intended group or department.

⚡ Single-tap navigation – Tapping the push notification takes employees straight to the Feed tab in the mobile app so they can interact right away.

📅 Event-specific alerts – Creating an event sends a dedicated event notification title and subtitle, ensuring key company events stand out.
