Setting up training eligibility is a key step in ensuring that the right employees have access to relevant training events. This is a Part 2 of our training creation guide.
What is Training Eligibility and Why is it Important?
Training eligibility determines which employees can view and enroll in specific training events. It’s a vital part of managing employee development because it helps ensure the right training reaches the right people.
Whether you want to open training to everyone or limit it to specific groups, eligibility settings make this possible.
Steps by Steps to Open a Training Creation Page
Login to BrioHR account
- Go to HR Lounge, and then click the Training tab
- Navigate to Training Catalog
- In this section, you will see list of training events created and its statuses.
- Click on +Create Training button to create a new training event.
How to Create a Training (Part 2: Setup Training Eligibility)
In this sections, there are 5 parts: Details, Eligibility, Budget, Approval and Trainees.
NOTE:
Part 2: Eligibility
After creating a new training event, navigate to the Eligibility tab to define who can enroll.
- Eligible to all employees: all employees can see the training events in the training catalog and enroll.
- Only restricted to certain group of employees: only employees who meets the criteria can view and enroll in the training.

Select trainees manually: only selected employees can enroll in this training. You can choose them under the Trainees tab. This training will not appear in the general training catalog.
Click Save.
